Hello,
My oath is scheduled for tomorrow, I got an email and they are asking to keep seat number with me. Apparently, that should be in the letter that we get. However, there is no number given on the letter, right next to seat number it says #

Anyone having same issue?

Don't worry. It's common for all and not applicable for virtual oath. Once you join the Oath meeting, they will give you separate room number.

My wife, myself and our 6 year old daughter are scheduled for oath ceremony on November 23rd. Does my daughter have to be present at the online ceremony or can she be absent? Do we need to have her PR, IDs, confirmation of landing etc..? Thanks

For all kids under 12, it's not mandatory to be present at Oath. However you will need to have her PR Card/CoPR. They will ask one of parent to sign it on her behalf and will ask you to cut her PR card.

Thanks man, appreciate it. I don't have a DL yet. I have a health card, but it's been expired for a few months. Is that fine?

Not sure about the expired Health Card. They have mentioned that expired PR card is valid but nothing such is mentioned for DL or health card.

Hello, quick status update, just got the invite for the Oath Ceremony for Nov 17th, 2021, initially, I got the invite for today at 08:30 AM today at 12:00 I reached out to the CIC office and they sent a revised invite. An interesting fact my online application tracker still shows the ceremony section as not started. so keep an eye on your inbox... u never know.

A bit overview of my app status:

March 2020 applied
Sep 2020 AOR
Jan 2021 Background Check Completed

Since Jan 2021 I haven't received no updates, Is there anything I can do here besides waiting? Moreover, my PR Card will expire in Mar 2022, I don't want to apply for a renewal.

I am kind of the same situation as yours, I would suggest applying for a PR renewal.

The online application tracker was updated today... The ceremony is set for Nov 17th, I cannot wait for that day.. wow, it has been quite a journey and this forum really helped me through it, I have a feeling that things will get moving faster for all of us and we will all be celebrating our citizenship real soon.

Hello, just checked my tracker today..(New) and saw that everything was updated to Completed except Oath Ceremony (Not Started)...Application still says 'In Progress'. What's the next step pls?

**PS: No Passport Request. Can they still ask?

Hi everyone! Final update on my end.
Office: Montreal
October 21: Ceremony
October 29: Citizenship Certificate received
November 5: Applied for passport in person (walk-in appointment)
November 9: Picked up passport (requested express passport)
