Hi, I am a Temporary resident visa holder and I went to India in May for a Surgery and marriage. But I got stuck in India because of travel restrictions. Now, it is over 6 months I am in India and I will be going back to Canada next week. One of my friends told me that I cannot enter Canada if I stay in India for more than 6 months. I am afraid whether I will get deported. Does anyone know about this? My work permit is valid for over 2 years. Can anyone help me on this.

Were you on a closed WP? If so do you have proof that you still have a job?
