How to digitally sign IMM1344 for parents and grandparent program
I've to submit the application online only and the adobe pdf wont let me to sign the form digitally

Should I have to print it, sign it and scan it and upload to CIC?

Hi, I have same question. After I click Validate button on the form, it clearly says "If you are applying online, you do not need to sign your application from by hand. You will be asked to provide an electronic signature once you are ready to transmit your documents to CIC.". But there is no mention of this in the guide. Thats why even I want to get this question clarified by someone who had submitted there application online with out signing this form. So guys if anyone had submitted online by not signing this form, please respond on this thread.

There was at least one report here by someone who'd applied online and not submitted the scan of physical signature, and got it returned.

I am almost certain that they will NOT return a file where there has been a scan of a physical signature provided. Even before the online pilot the instructions for the forms were terrible and said electronic sig was enough for the physical application - but they most emphatically were not and IRCC required the physical signature (or scan of signature).

To be clear: want to be safe? Do both. Can't do both? Physical signature seems to be better than electronic (always accepted).
