Hello everyone,

I applied for a study permit for Jan 2022 intake last month and it got rejected. So I reapplied with strong documents and SOP by November 1.

But, yesterday there was a tweet from IRCC that study permit applications applied after November 1 maybe delayed due to covid and the students should make arrangements with the DLI Institutes regarding it.

I was wondering wether it would affect me or still I have better chance because my application is not a new file and whether my reapplication would be given high preference?

Please advice your insights.

Your application won't be given preference because you are reapplying. It will be treated the same as any other new application. So yes, you may be affected by IRCC's announcement.
