Is this applicable for SDS files too, where the avg. processing time is 20 days.I was planning to apply by 10th Nov,Banks delayed the loan process. My university has refund deadline on 22nd Jan.Do I have a chance?
Very less chances, As IRCC already said that students who will apply in November for study permit might not get results for Jan 2022. If your uni can give you defer then you can apply now. Otherwise , Its risky

Have already defered once brother from Fall to Winter 2022.have done upfront medicals and have my biometrics scheduled on 22nd Nov.The trend for SDS files is 1.5-2 months.I have no choice.

There is no trend at the moment. People are waiting from 2 to 4 months. My application is also SDS applied in August but not received result yet. You can try. ALL THE BEST

I think ircc has made it pretty clear that application filed Nov onwards will surely not make it for Jan intake

Sorry I read that now that you booked biometrics for November 22nd.
Ask yourself if in case you get a late decision will you be able to rush? Also after getting a decision from IRCC, they say passport stamping takes around 10-15 days (India).
Idk man, I tried my best to expedite the process, will take a chance

Will talk to the DLI about this, will have to cancel my plans mostly if I don't get the approval/PPR by Jan 30,2021.My Uni is offering online classes till Jan 30,2021.Have been defering my plans since Fall 2020 due to Covid, have also resigned from my job now.Cant defer anymore. Will be applying under SDS category. Have seen most SDS applicants getting results within 2 months approx on this forum/YouTube/fb.

I think this situation is similar to what happened in May this year when they announced all those who applied after May 15th for Sept intake wouldn't be guaranteed a decision and the same thing happened. There are applicants who applied in June/July for Sept intake and they haven't received a decision yet. There are many in this forum who even deferred their intake to Jan, correct me if I'm wrong.

I know it's risky, even I analyzed some SDS files lodged in June/July/August for Fall 2021 intake, some got a decision on time, some didn't.I guess I don't have much choice now.As long as I can get my full fee refund,I am a bit less worried.

Sorry Guys its bit off topic..
@tiandstories @yesWeCanada @cheemak

I hope you remember that we casually discussed about other options like Ireland, UK etc.

I had applied for DBS, Ireland 2-3 weeks ago and got accepted in Msc in Business Analytics today and got my offer of acceptance. They have also provided me a scholarship around 1000 Euros.
So is there anyone you know who can assist me regarding Ireland? Or any forum?
It would be very helpful.

Actually that have asked me to deposit 500 euros in next 15 days so that my admission will be confirmed along with scholarship.
Thanks in advance.
Congratulations! Its nice you tried other options. I am not sure about these countries man. But as usual I suggest youtube or google search for more info. May be create a separate thread in this forum and see if someone knows anything. I suggest you look at employment opportunities after your course completion, make sure there are opportunities there for the cost you are paying for it. Good luck dude...
