So I went to do my medical on Saturday and the doctor said because I applied for my PR through AINP nomination I cannot do my upfront unless IRCC asks for it and I need to have a piece of paper from IRCC asking me to get a medical check up.
Which city are you in. Calgary does upfront medicals for PNP applicants, I booked at Dr. Qaiser at Essence Medical. I live in Cranbrook but because I could not get an appointment with the only one doctor doing Immigration medicals, I drove to Calgary. Otherwise the doctor in Cranbrook would have done it as well.

Now didn’t get PR, work permit is expiring with a month, online shows I applied this 22 months now
I would suggest you apply for GCMS notes which will give you a better understanding of what is happening.
Have you received a request for medicals or biometrics. Apply for GCMS notes and also phone IRCC.

That's what I told her that they can just upload my upfront medical and if IRCC asks me to do it again I have no issues with doing the medical again but she was adamant on what she was saying about the piece of paper from IRCC requesting me to do a medical. I asked her why I need that paper to do my upfront medical she said because I applied through AINP nomination.
"Provincial Nominees require a piece of paper from IRCC to do their medical" her exact words.
Do you think maybe I should try another clinic or just go to this one again and tell them I want to get it done no matter what.
I have less than two months left now and there is no news about my PR or my WP.
Try calling other physicians appointed by IRCC.

Mate if there was even an ounce of transparency from IRCC we more than likely wouldn't need this forum.

My understanding is they do not transfer files between agents, who knows how many files an agent might have at one time but you could imagine that if they get sick, go on leave, whatever - those files are now delayed. Also since their workflow is so manual, there's probably a lot of context switching between files so they probably only work on one at a time (is my guess anyway).
I have wondered whether having outland dependants adds on to the delay.

hi all friends,

My application is in PNP SINP and I got message after medical that

" We're still working on your application.

You may not have heard from us in a little while. This is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

We send messages to your account if we need something from you. When we do that, we'll also send you an email to this address: ..........."

What is meaning of this?
