Yes! I am applying for both simultaneously. I completed my H&C today. The application should be completed and filed before end of the week. My JR too is due next Monday.
It’s exhausting and expensive but what can one do!!! Hopefully, everything will worth the pain and spending at the end.

Your friend not Gonna get work permit Right away you have to wait for his/her application go in process then Maybe he/she will have if you send a work permit before the application go in process I’m 90% sure it’s not a good news

No, she didn't have AOR yet, she cannot apply for Work Permit. We’re just asking so we know where we can ask advised in case she will apply soon and of course the timeline.

AOR is not enough to apply for a work permit under H&C. You have to wait until you have AIP before you will qualify to apply for a work permit.

Exactly. Thats what I did before a year ago. I waited for AIP then apply for WP however Decision Made comes first before WP so I did refund the WP Fee.

I feel you - anything to do with federal court is extremely $$$$$$. Our most recent lawyer asked 10K just for Stage 1 of JR after second HC was rejected. She also insisted that a new HC is useless. We did exactly the opposite: did not bother with JR and did 3rd HC just ourselves. And we got it finally.

I hope we are get positive results for our applications the most painful stage is waiting it is worth if the results came back approved
My deadline for appeal it's next week any suggestions because my lawyer said that is no high chance to win the case he recommend me to prepare myself for H an C

Because if someone apply for a work permit or study permit without AIP like the normal process/application it may take 2 months or more

Hi Seniors,
I filed H and C on line and the portal of the consultant shows Client ID numberxx and File Noxxxx . Is it treated as AOR ? But there is no email from IRCC but got email for biometric. Is AOR process over or wait for email of AOR? Please @Ayanna @Kaytayoon
