I got invite for my parents sponsorship and I am trying to fill IMM0008 form. 2 questions
1. Do I add me (Canadian citizen) and my brother (work permit over 22 y/o) as dependents? (the question says to add children even if they are PR or citizens)
2. Do I add my mother as dependent (making my father as PA) ? If not, where do I add her in the application?

Okay, I got the same stating ‘ this email confirms that you have successfully submitted…’
I was hoping they will send a file number in a day or two as everything is electronic.
I guess, we gotta wait.

No, agent will review the completeness of the file and then issue the Aknowldgement number.

it may takes 1-2 months.

I just want to ask affidavits such as name change affidavit are valid for how long ? If they were done in India in 2015, can we still use them for PGP 2021.

Suppose I am eligible to apply for this sponsorship 3 years from now, can I express my interest next year, when they open the portals again or is it that I can express my interest only when I am eligible, that is after paying 3 years of taxes.

When you fill in the interest to sponsor form, they will ask if you fulfill the income requirement to sponsor. At that point, your previous 3 years income, usually note by the NOA line 15000 (or whatever the requirement by that time) has to meet the requirement.

So, do not express your interest unless you are eligible at that point.
