What happens if BOWP expires before COPR

Hey everyone, what happens if your BOWP is nearing expiry and you haven't received COPR yet? Is there such a thing as re-applying for/extending BOWP? or do you change your status to a visitor? Has anyone ever experienced this? With COVID cases increasing across Canada, I'm expecting PR processing time to go even longer and I want to be as prepared as I can be. Thanks!

You can continue to extend your BOWP till you have a valid AOR.

You have to extend it by filing a new application.

A new application will have to be filed and in the form you will specify that you are extending.
