Need Help with Criminal Rehabilitation Application

Hi, i applied for Criminal Rehabilitation in November 2019 at the consulate of Chandigarh, India. I am using a paid representative. I have entered my representative's mailing address and email in the application. I have also included a Use of Representative form along with my application. As per my representative, they have not received any acknowledgement or Application Number till date. It been almost 2 years since my application was submitted. Now my representative is asking for $950 CAD to apply for GSMS Notes. We have no Application Number or anything to refer to. Please suggest what can i do. I am not sure if my representative is giving me correct information. I want to deal with IRCC directly and want my email and mailing address instead of my representative. Since there is no application number, no acknowledgement, no UCI Number. Please suggest how to go further and change my contact information, email, mailing address and cancel my representative.

GCMS notes cost $30 so something is not right if you don‘t have an application number. Did your agent even send in the application since you have no verifications/AOR from IRCC? IRCC will not be able to help you. Seems like you have been scammed.

I am in India and couriered/mailed the Criminal Rehabilitation Application myself to the nearest consulate which is Chandigarh, India. My consultant is in Canada and helped me over the phone and emails to prepare my CR Application. This is for sure that my application was successfully delivered to them, but since only my representative will be getting acknowledgement and mail's from IRCC, i have no confirmation at all since then. According to my Representative, due to COVID-19, my application may have not even started processing yet which is why they have never received any acknowledgement or mail from IRCC yet. Upon asking them about this, they are telling me for them to make a request and review the GCMS Notes they charge $950 CAD. Please suggest what should i do?

You need to talk to your agent on how to follow up with IRCC without a AOR. Don’t know your agreement with your agent but GCMS notes cost $30 so find out why the agent needs $950.

I am experiencing the same thing, I am in canada and my rehabilitation application has been sent in since 2019 I have no file number, or any acknowledgement of receipt from them either. My rep sent it in along with H&C. I know what your going through, I am still waiting in limbo.
