Waiting for PR Card, Can I travel to India?

Here's my situation,

I'm currently in Canada (CEC Applicant) hoping to get my eCOPR soon and then I'll have to wait for my PR card, if I get my PR card fast then there is no problem but if not then can I travel to India and come back?
I have a valid visitor visa and work permit. My passport and visa and work permit all expire on May 2022.

Any help or guidance is highly appreciated guys, many thanks in advance!

Once you land as a PR your TRV should get cancelled. You will either need a PR card or PRTD

Advice is the same. Even if you are landed virtually your TRv get canceled. As a PR to fly into Canada you need a valid PR card or PRTD

But if you have US visa, then perhaps you can return to Canada without PR card or PRTD.

I do have a US visa, but in that case will I have to enter via US?

Yes, and then return Canada by foot or private vehicle.

I also wanted to know, they mention that the applicant has to prove they were in Canada for 730 days in the past 5 years. Is this number of days counted after COPR? I came to Canada as a student at end of 2018, will all that duration be counted or not?

This doesn't apply to you since you are a new PR.

Another question if you don't mind.
My passport expires in May 2022, currently, I have my eCOPR and waiting for PR Card.
Can I renew my passport now? Will I have to update CIC about it or anything to be changed in eCOPR?
