They asked me twice for the bank statements but because they did not received it in the first place so I sent them once again and then a few days later the office called as saying our application will be approved within the next two weeks. I sent them the online statements only

This thing must not be related to settlement funds!!! They are checking statements to verify two things
1) no other income, no other big transactions
2)if salary is coming or not

i guess if they asked for salary account statements

as per my thinking

Our statements because they asked for mi wife's and mine too, certainly reflected that we are working but no minimum funds required I think.

After you sybmit it how long it take to approve and have you ger portal request yet or not??
