Yeah. my situation is what mentioned in example 2. thats how i figured out that i will only have to consider 4 for income requirement.
The form for financial evaluation is kinda confusing though. it asks me to list my dependent and if i include my daughter , that number goes to 5, hence my question. what do i do ? provide explanation ?

Undertaking for parents before October 24, 2017 is 10 years. After is 20 years. It's the landing date.

why do you need your fathers birth certificate?

I am applying for my dad, wanted information on filling in the IMM008. For the dependent section, my siblings and I are in Canada and are PR holders or citizens. I wanted to know if I need to add our info.

Gives you clear info on who are considered as dependent and not.

Any family member who is physically or financially dependent on your parents are called dependent

Spouse - Dependent
Children- Dependent Child.

If you and your siblings are not physically or financially dependent on your parents, you dont have to mention yourself or your sibling.

Hi, I also received an invitation to apply for my parents. Do I need to submit as well copy of police clearance with my application?
Also my sister is already 28 years old she should not be part of dependents right?

You fill the form to the best of your knowledge, CIC will figure it out. Don't worry this form is not the final thing they gonna check. They will run their own checks. Just provide your SIN number to them so that they can access your information from CRA.

Scanned signatures are acceptable or not? In the checklist, it says " You may be asked to provide an original copy of a form with the original handwritten signature if an IRCC officer determines it is necessary". Thanks

just came across this forum today! thanks for all the help that has been up here appreciate it..

I also have a question - I got invitation for my Mom, and I am trying to figure out the financial dependency meaning- my elder brother (married and with a kid), lives with my mom in India. Should i add him as a dependent (for financial reasons, he is kind of dependent on my mom)? Also, his kid .. should he be added as a dependent ? My brother's wife is working though.
