Hello, my father is medically inadmissible to canada and in state of confusion. He needs my care. On an everyday basis we have to make medicine dosage adjustment, monitor symptoms and do other things to verify his health status. My mom is not educated and cannot really do that. I am only earning member of family. Either i have to move there or they saty here with me. If i move with them in that country, i lose my income and the job i get over there is barely enough for our survival, leave alone the medical costs. His retirement income there is equivalent to $40.

Today I received an email for Niagara office, I sent my documents on September 28th and today they reply my email:


Good Day: This will confirm we have received your documents. If additional information is required, we will notify you.

I guess just today they opened my email! :eek:

Are your parents physically in Canada? They would need to be in Canada to apply under H&C. Good luck.

If your father live in Canada you maybe have a 50-50 chance but if he’s overseas I don’t think so but you never know

you wait for csq first then they send you approval letter for Pr because you live in Montreal

yes they are in canada and I applied for H&C last month. The bigger challenge I am facing currently is that he will require dialysis soon and he does not have health card. IFHP policy says that minister of IRCC has power to provide IFHP to any individual with exceptional and compelling circumstances. I wonder how I can specifically ask the minister to consider my dad's application for that purpose.

If anyone has any thoughts, please provide guidance. Thank you!
