As said above, you have to become a permanent resident first. There is no direct path to citizenship.

Recommend that you research the Express Entry immigration program to assess your chances of being selected for PR. Express Entry is a points-based program and you want to have 470+ points to have a good chance of being selected.

Citizenship by descent is the quickest way, but this requires that one of your parents was a Canadian citizen when you were born.

Not trying to troll, I personally do not like this thread. People here came to Canada as refugees, students workers. Then it took time to get PR and now it takes time to get citizenship.

What makes you special? What did you do for Canada and Canadians to get citizenship faster than others?

Faster than applying for PR through EE or whatnot, find a Canadian, get married and sponsored for PR. Very quick from US. Then wait three years and apply for citizenship.

There is nothing F wrong in him to come to country, contribute to economy and culture and then get citizenship

I've been around on this forum long enough to see inquiries from people thinking their current nationality (not just from those south of the border) bestows upon them a fast track to immigrating to Canada/becoming a Canadian citizen. I simply figured OP's question was in that same vein.
