Decision Made to Decision Letter and / or passport request how and timeline

Hi there,

Does anyone know how IRCC / CIC will communicate what the decision is regarding one’s application? This has seemed to be the most stressful part. Nothing in GC Key or Mr LL’s email or by post, as yet. Even checking junk mail! Of course, all ECAS says is decision made. Sigh.

I am assuming that since there has been no ADR about intent to return and Mr LL has been given pre-arrival, decision is most likely positive.

I see the average timeline for my month in the spreadsheet is 7 days. When should we be concerned or not if we do not receive anything?

You can not compare your timeline with anyone.
It is different for everyone.
It depends on country of PA. Some countries get faster and some get slower.
I got DM in ECAS on April 17 , 2021 and still waiting for passport request. Some people from March 2021 are still waiting for same.

I don't think this is anything to be worried about. If you want you can try your MP but honestly any step taking a few weeks is pretty normal.

Since your spouse is from an ETA country, he could also come to canada and wait, but up to you.

I still haven't got a Decision Made letter and still waiting for CORP. Obv this doesn't mean i'll be the same time for you but it might give you an idea. Our timelines have been pretty similar.

I got DM on ECAS on June 8. Today I got 'your application was approved' on GCkey. So, almost 20 days between DM on ECAS and DM on GCKey. Thank you. On what line in GC Key does it say that your application was approved? Under eligibility? You were also asked about ADR for intent to return, if I recall rightly?

I don't think there is any notification of approval in gckey save for the ppr letter.

Yes there is. First, I have "Approved" under Current Status. And it says "Final decision - June 23, 2021:Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details." under Latest Update. This only changed 2 days ago and I had DM in ECAS and PPR in the beginning of the month.

Yes there is. First, I have "Approved" under Current Status. And it says "Final decision - June 23, 2021:Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details." under Latest Update. This only changed 2 days ago and I had DM in ECAS and PPR in the beginning of the month.

First I've heard of that. Ours did not change until the copr was issued.

There is no decision made letter apart from the passport request.

My application showed DM on Friday October 15, 2021 & I got the letter today October 18, 2021 requesting to respond to the email so they can send me the portal information.
