Hi guys, I have a question. I brought the insurance starting about eight months later (due to the processing time) but luckily the application is approved within a month. Could my mother come this year without insurance?

yes if supervisa they prefer to have the insurance, but its your choice. you can request the change of dates with insurance companies, they will change as needed..

so you never got a medical request until now on your application ? if you get a request, we dont get a option to upload against the request ?
and yes if we get request from them, we can upload in portal itself.. that makes it more easier.. Am waiting for that too

I think you can call the insurance company and pre pone the insurance effective date. Also it would be taking such a huge risk if she come in without the insurance

Hi All,

I got the biometrics instruction letter for my parents super visa application. So as we all know, we will not get an appointment for biometrics from India in 30 days from the IRCC biometrics request date. So planning to submit a webform. For submitting the webforms, one of the questions they ask is is the application processed outside Canada? To me, yes because my dad applied behalf of himself and mom. But when I called CIC agent, they told me answer 'no' as the biometrics is actually processed in Canada. I am a bit confused here, could anyone help me?

Additionally, in VAC website while scheduling for Biometric appointment, the option to choose is 'Biometrics enrollment', is that correct ?

yes i got email update..
Thank you. I had submitted the medicals via webform for my parents’ supervisa on Sept 27, 2021. Haven’t received any email yet so wondering if we should wait or reapply on the new portal.

Congrats !!
It is better to call the insurance provider and change the dates of the coverage. But it could be very risky if you want to cancel the insurance at this point.

If you dont mind, could you share your application timeline ?

Are you or someone who has experienced sure that we get a link to submit medical results ? My assumption is when a medical request is available on your case, we need to visit the test panel doctors who do the medicals and it is directly submitted to IRCC using emedicals... like PR process... we as a applicant have no option to upload results... can someone confirm on the same ?

So incase we do medicals upfront I beleive there should be only two ways to submit it....
1) Either while submitting application
2) as a webform

am sorry in this regards your right, when they request we dont have any action for medicals. Clinic submits to IRCC. If they request any other documents other than Medicals then we get an option of upload...
