Dear members,

I need your help with a query.

I did not had any income last year as I was outside the country (Canada).

Now, I am back this year and have started earning from last 4 months.

I want to apply for super visa for my parents. My questions are:

1) The LICO requirement is based on the last year income or current year?

2) If current year >>>I have employment letter from the company that states my annual salary, which is higher than the LICO requirements.

Will my employment letter be considered as proof of income?

3) Do I have chances for super visa approval for my parents or shall I wait for the next year when I file my taxes and have NOA?

Please suggest.

Thank you.

1) You need to provide a CRA NOA. So you would need to qualify based on your income last year to apply now.
2) See above.
3) Wait until you have filed taxes and have an NOA

My situation is opposite. my mother was granted super visa twice and her recent super visa expired. Im applying for her again. My annual income for past few years always higher than income required for super visa but i changed my job a month ago and im on salary plus commision. In total salary plus commision i can easily make more than last few years but if i submitt employment letter it will show salary which is less than required plus commion which is not earned yet. i went through official website they ask for different document as proof of income like NOA , employement letter, t4, pay stubs etc. I can easily provide my last year NOA in which my income is way beyond required income do i still need to provide letter of employment or my last year NOA will be enough proof of my income. please guide
