Hi Guys,

We are a family of 3, parents (me and my husband) have PR status in Canada (express entry). We did a soft landing and came back to our home country in Europe and had a baby who is not PR.
Due to family reasons it seems that we will not be able to meet our RO of staying 730 days in 5 years.
My question is: what are the chances of getting the PR status again in a couple of years time in case
our status expires and would like to apply again? Does it only depend on the express entry score?
What is the better option, that I revoke my PR status voluntarily, or if I let it expire?

Thank you!!!

Your chances of getting PR again will depend on your Express Entry score or whether you can qualify and be selected through another program.

You will need to officially renounce your status if you want to reapply.

Does this mean that renouncing the status itself will not be a problem and the chances of getting the new PR will only depend on the EE score?

Yes.
