I will wait and if nothing is received by Nov 12, 2021 (by Oath date), I will ask what to sign during the Oath. As you mentioned, it must be solemn declaration I believe.
Thank you, I know. I'm a Dec 2019 citizenship applicant and share my experience since I will need a PR card on Nov 12, 2021 for my Oath ceremony. At least I will show the expired one . My timeline may be useful for someone with similar situation (expired PR card, etc.)

Finally I got my renewed PR card 1 month prior to Oath . It took them almost 6 months to get it re-issued.

Today's update is visible already but no change in the file status

9 Wednesdays to go till 2 yrs and and today ,same old tracker ,nothing !!! must be still well under the time line for processing .
and the covid excuse is really slowing the saskatoon office i guess .

Give it the time till your window was active and add another 2 weeks into it, then if the status does not change you can call them

Thanks. I just checked and my test status has changed to "completed". This marks the start of a new round of endless wait...

Today they updated my second set of fingerprints and changed background bto completed. Prohibitions is still in progress and oath not started. 9-10 weeks till I too am at 2 years, woooo.

yes . i went and checked today . only to see that the last update that had been was the 12th October.
so how does that happen and my tracker has not moved or even seen a ghost update ?

How many of you think the officers will actually get mad/upset at us if we keep giving them excuses about why they should process our application quickly and intentionally not forward the case, i talked to a agent today and he said he sees a variety of reasons I have provided IRCC in webforms asking for the status, I told the agent i didnt even knew if anyone was reading those, but it seems like they are reading and ignoring them or deciding against those reasons we give. Now I am a little hesitant to even post any query on webform not to piss off the IRCC officers :|

Good you are taking things with good sport. The frustration and stress can give us a heart attack, which I think is IRCC ultimate goal, to get rid of us to other more important immigrants in their eyes

When I last called IRCC, the agent explained to me that files go "from officer to officer". I suspect that an update (maybe even a ghost update) would mean that the file has gone to the next officer. So new chance of getting a less procrastinating officer! It is a good sign when the last officer's procrastination level is above average.
