Primary Occupation Selection in Express Entry Profile

Hi Experienced Members,

I have my education background is Computing/Information Technology , Following is my past work experience history:

1 year 5 month of Experience in NOC-1024
3 year 6 month of Experience in NOC-2171
7 month (20 Hour Per Week) Work as Student in Canada NOC-6552
8 month (20 Hour per Week) Work as Student in Canada NOC-4163

Recently from an Ontario based company, I got Job offer in NOC 1024.

My Question is : In my Express Entry profile under Primary Occupation NOC, Is OK to select NOC-1271 instead of NOC-1024 ??? The reason because NOC1271 my help to get PNP offer.

You can’t count your work as a student under CEC plus 6552 is NOC C so not eligible. You can count 2171 as long as you have employment letters. If on PGWP, you don’t have a job offer anyways because it is an open work permit.

@Naturgrl Sir can you help to clarify in detail why PGWP holder can not claim points for JOB OFFER ? or help me to refer to some link where I can better understand. Its really shocking for me.

Why is it shocking....you need a LMIA. Everyone would be getting a job offer for EE if it was so easy.
