Rescheduling Ceremony of Oath

Hello everyone, I have a question about rescheduling the Ceremony of Oath due to being outside Canada. I am wondering when is the next date IRCC can provide? Could I ask to move one week ahead to be able to get a ticket, or you might need to wait several months in the queue? Does anyone have recent experience of rescheduling (my Office is in Scarborough), or is it possible to take the Ceremony of Oath outside Canada at this time? Thank you

No oath is allowed outside for our citizenship application category.
You can not request a specific date. You can only tell to postpone and they are simply cancelling your oath date and put the file for review next time. No one knows when your next turn will be since officer needs to review the file again to reschedule your oath.

Thanks a lot for your answer! I am wondering if you would know the approximate time, of course, it's based on the IRCC office, but maybe there is a minimal time period?

Me, too It seems unfortunately those who reschedule, their spots go to waste. I suspect IRCC doesn't have a mechanism to fill these spots. That's why I think IRCC sometimes calls applicants to make sure they are available for the oath.
