IF you're from one of these countries and have a pending visa case (Visitor Visa). Please note that this is strictly related to non-essential traveling (tourism only). Please post your timeline here.

My Timeline is; Applied on 3, 2020

Biometrics - September 6, 2020:Completed.


Review of eligibility
  • We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results
  • You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.
Review of additional documents
  • We do not need additional documents.
Interview
  • You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics
  • September 6, 2020 Completed.
Background check
  • We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision
  • Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Your application wasn’t considered for review until September 2021 because you didn’t qualify to travel until that point. You may want to reapply if you don’t hear anything soon.

Thanks for your response. I think, we are still not eligible to apply on the new portal as per the instruction on the IRCC website. Therefore, the best is to wait. Secondly, this post is just to gather all those who might have received PPRs post 7th September or still waiting

It’s not inaccurate information. IRCC was processing those who met the travel exemptions until restrictions were lifted which is why OP had not heard about his/her TRV for a year.
