Hi, my both my wife and I got invitation to sponsor our parents (mine and hers) separately. and we are co-signer for each other. We are confused when we are filling the IMM5768(Financial Evaluation For Parents and Grandparents sponsorship).

Where should I put my wife's parents number (2 persons) in the form?

* 3. A) Current undertaking - 2 (my mom and my dad)
* 3. B) Previous undertakings
iv) Number of persons included in previous undertakings you co-signed, where these undertakings are not yet in effect (persons who have not yet become permanent residents). - 2 (my wife's mom and dad)

Is the above number correct? the 3. B) iv) is for previous undertakings, but we are applying together now, it should not be previous undertaking. But I cannot find a correct place to add my wife's parents number in the form.

If anyone know how to fill the number in this case? Thanks a lot!!!

Hi all - question regarding IMM5768

Family size -


2018 - me+parents = 3


2019 - me+parents+spouse = 4
(got married in 2019)

2020- me+parents+spouse = 4

2021 - me+parents+spouse+my son = 5

So current family size is 5 in 2021 but i meet the MNI for all past 3 years… but confusing forms n guide says they will see the box 7 which is current to access the income …

policies says something else n forms say something else.

How to answer Q 14 in IMM5768:
It askes for employment and unemployment history for the last 3 consecutive years preceding your application.
If we have worked for employer for the 3 years, do we just club the duration of employment and add the total income for the 3 years? Or do we list each year separately?
For PGP 2021, it would be years 2018,2019 and 2021. However in the form in the "To" column it is typed "Present". Does this mean we should also mention the gross income for 2021?
What does family size mean in Q 14 - Do I take into account my parents(whom I am sponsoring) or not?

I suppose they will use the family size for each year, for e.g., for 2018: 3 etc.. You have to mention the family size in question 14..

Only Canadian income is considered.

If only Canadian income is considered, do we have to mention the foreign income or the income earned prior moving to Canada? I moved in Apr 2018. Do I have to show my income for the months of Jan, Feb and March 2018, even if it was not Canadian income?

First and foremost congratulation to everyone who got the invite and truly pray that others get it ASAP as well. I am unsure if anyone has faced this situation but i am looking for any thoughts that can help me. In 2020 i put the interest to sponsorship form (at that time he mentioned 200 dollars to fill the form) for my mother through an agent. This was because i was thinking of getting my mothers supervisa done with the same agent. I did not get selected in the 2020 draw and the agent was not giving proper service and being rude when i approached with the super visa application and addressed the high fees he asked for compared to other agents. Not wanting to deal with such scenarios i applied for my mothers super visa on my own and her biometrics is done.

Yesterday i got a call from the agent that my mother got selected for the 2021 sponsorship program. I told them i did not get a service that i expected from them on my parents super visa hence i did it on my own and i would wish to proceeds with the sponsor ship application on my own as well. At that point the person got rude and said they filled the form thinking i will go through then and pay 4000 dollars for application and if i need my invitation to apply (which was sent to them as i believe they put their contact details) and he can give send my invitation if i pay him 1000 dollars. I am unsure of how to proceed at this point. Without the invitation i cannot apply.

I dont know if i pay 1000 dollars still if communication goes to this person he will ask for more money or tamper with the sponsorship process. Any suggestion is helpful.

As suggested in the forum I requested for a copy of the invitation letter from CIC through the webform Sponsor your parents and grandparents: Find your lost confirmation number (cic.gc.ca) but i got a response (in 10 days) that only partial information matched to what was provided in the 2020 interest to sponsorship form hence they will not be able to sent the invitation letter to me. Looks like all the information matched to what i provided except for the Postal Code. I strongly believe the agent might have typed the postal code wrong when submitting the below in the application.

I tried calling IRCC but i don't even get connected to an agent and in the email response i got from them i cannot reply as it says that the inbox does not receive messages.

yes you can club all 3 years and enter your total gross income during those 3 years together,
