I recently got an email with acceptance letter in Bachelor of Science Major -Unsure which is a General Admisson Category. So I wanted to ask that how much time after the admission in General Category did you get admission in the Competitive Category?

There is nothing like that in post graduate programs. If you are eligible, have good academic background and have good profile related to your intended program then straight acceptance letter comes. If not, then you get rejection.

Hello,
International non-English native speakers must take the Engineering English Test (EET) first. If you had already had the test, then around a couple of weeks or so after the oral portion of the EET you shall receive a decision.

No I had given IELTS exams and scored 8 Bands Overall. Is it equivalent to that??

If you scored 9 in the IELTS, you must also take the EET to get admitted to the engineering program.
Login into bright space (D2l), then if you couldn't find the Engineering English Test course, contact the registration department.
