hi.. I have also got my temp file number. Do we use XEP file number for ordering the notes or remove X from the file number while ordering the notes. Also what does your notes tell you about your file progress if you don’t mind sharing. Thanks in advance.

I don’t 100% remember but I’m pretty sure I used XEP when requesting as I do not have AOR.

GCMS notes really do not give much indication of activity. My criminality is marked as in progress and the rest of the file is mostly empty.

Anyone waiting on GCMS notes I applied on August 9 2021, and received October 2 2021 - so just under 2 months.

GCMS take around 30 days.. I apply on august 24 and I received on sep 23

What province? Some PNP allow you to apply for an extension on your closed work permit if your PR app is taking too long at the federal level. OINP offers this for example:

Your work permit support letter is valid for six months. You may request an extension if your work permit is expiring and your application for permanent residence is still in process.

You can request an extension by emailing the OINP at ontarionominee@ontario.ca with the following information:

• copies of your two (2) most recent pay slips.
• scanned copy of your work permit.

Mine is shift supervisor, but my employer is planning to close the restaurant. I have gotten the support letter by OINP, however, I need the employer portal to pay the compliance fee.

You will lose your nomination - OINP does not budge on personal circumstance. I have tried, believe me.

No. If your work permit expires you must stop working. In order to receive your PR your nomination must be valid. In order for your nomination to be valid, you must keep working in the same job for the same employer from when you originally were nominated.

So, if you lose your job, stop working, or your work permit expires (also triggering both of the other events) - you lose your application.

ｉcheck the OINP website, it said that if I apply PR before nominations expired, my status of nominations will be kept.Although the nomination expired, I still can use it as proved. I think although I stop working, online will show I have been working 24 months since nominations. I don’t think CIC will cancel it because the application has passed the time as they promised
