How did you get your TFN? By email?

No ! I called the cic helpline. Though the temp file number means nothing it’s just an acknowledgment that they have your documents with them. Nothing less nothing more.

I had not seen any AOR after tha

Me too they stopped processing AOR's for PNP paper based I guess... However I've seen a lot of people getting TFN which doesn't mean anything.

I think all they are doing is scanning the paper files into the system and continuing to process the Afgan files and CEC and Tr to Pr files. PNP paper files are not a priority for them

It's depends on luck as well I know someone who applied in July 2021 online application and he already received his corp in end of September 2021. One person I know who applied his file in August 2020 still waiting,

Well when we send a paper file envelope to ircc the just received it. (They don’t open envelope)

after long time, maybe 6/7/8 months when we got TFN means they open our envelope and start working on it.
Once they completely study our file they issued us a AOR number

when we got AOR no at that time we can link our file or can see online.

i think we need to write minister immigration we can send email and kindly r equest to give pnp ppaer people also priority i think taking 7 month or long for aor is not good

Can anyone help me?

I applied for the SINP student graduate temporary measure and got nominated. I filled out my application and mailed it out to the ircc but as i was reviewing the documents today, i noticed a mistake. Under the "total years of formal education." In the generic form, I put in a wrong number because i thought it meant total years of formal education in Canada but now i see it meant years of education from primary to current. Is this a negligible mistake or could it severely affect my application.
