My wife applied for a student visa in May 2021 for September 2021 intake but we didn't get any response, so now she has deferred to January 2022 intake. We still have not received any updates on the progress.
Is anyone here facing a similar situation?
It's getting very frustrating.

If someone orders GCMS order for their status, even though they haven’t received approval or refusal yet? is it a good thing to do, will it be of any use? also, will it still take 40 days?

Hi yes we have already updated the new LOA and did raise a webform but there is no response from IRCC. we are using an agent. He told us that presently the IRCC is focused on processing Afgan citizens due to crisis there. Is this true?

I applied for study permit on aug 3rd,2021 and till now i didn't receive biometrics instruction letter but biometrics got updated in my gc key without giving biometrics.did this happen for anyone, please let me know

we raised the webform but no response yet. also biometric and medical already done in july. everything submitted but no response on progress

No, this is old news. He needs to get a proper response. Please try to get a response from IRCC. Send an email or call them yourself.

Yes. There is a list of priorities and Afghan citizens is one. Study permits are not.
