There is no information available for next year at this time.

No, there is no way to be notified. Keep checking the IRCC site for updates.

Given IRCC is only going to be conducting the 2021 draw this month, I expect it will be 2022 before any information about the 2022 draw becomes available.

We also have no news whether there will be changes because before covid there were supposed to be changes announced to the program. The changes are likely related to prioritizing applicants. Assume priority will be given to children who applied the most times (and qualified to apply) or worked in Canada the longest although that’s the general consensus from lay people. There Is a decent chance that there may be a new government so that could also impact the program. In general sponsoring parents is not guaranteed and there is too much demand for the amount of spots available. Given the major issues with LTC and homecare Canada can’t even care for our current seniors well and in a timely fashion. Would suggest having a plan B if you can’t sponsor your parents in 2022 and future years. It is very common for people to attempt to secure PGP multiple times before they arevsucessful.
