MS teams can now accommodate 1000 users in a meeting. I wonder if this can help IRCC to accelerate the oath process.
I think the big problem is that IRCC has to account for if people drop out of a meeting and don't complete the Oath; this is why I was punting around the idea of doing it in an open-air space with proper social distancing - you could knock out the oaths "toot sweet" as the French say (Yes, the misspelling is intentional. )MS teams can now accommodate 1000 users in a meeting. That's what I was suggesting during the summer. Unfortunately, the summer is over and the cool breeze of autumn has started to blow. It doesn't matter. I suggest to post on all of their tweets. Unless there is a way to make our tweets visible to the public on their page for everyone visiting it. I am not a twitter pro. With regards to what? The only thing they posted was about people sponsoring parents or grandparents. (Unless I missed something?)
I saw recently someone said they accommodated ~ 100 applicants. That's 100% increase of what I used to see. Maybe if they increase to 200 or 300 that would be a game changer in the oath backlog. They would need to allocate more agents for the registration, which shouldn't be an issue if they do it once a week.MS teams can now accommodate 1000 users in a meeting. I'll stand in -40C outside to do the Oath tomorrow, if that's what it takesThat's what I was suggesting during the summer. Unfortunately, the summer is over and the cool breeze of autumn has started to blow. They missed their window implementing this, I believe
Aye, I tend to severely limit online (anti)social media interactions. I'm also not sure about the wisdom of aggravating IRCC under my real name on Twitter (although I suppose I could use a handle, although I think that they would be more inclined to ignore that...)It doesn't matter. 40K more vote to JT and if you settle them right it's a swing of 20 seatsLiberals are bent on bringing more refugees , i was reading earlier they are doubling on Afghan refugees from 20000 to 40000
#makeIRCCworkagainOk, I did my test. I am going to use my Twitter account to constantly ask IRCC to get their head out of the sand and speed up the applications. You don't need to use your real name. Make an account on Twitter and put the IRCC handle @CitImmCanada in your twit and ask them to get their act together. There's literally no cost to you except 2 minutes a day to write a tweet. Worst case, nothing comes out of it.
I just noticed that people who are waiting for their PRs are active on Twitter demanding IRCC to process paper applications. they use #IRCCdoesntcare. we can use the same hashtag or something like #clearthebacklog or something similar.
Yes, just read it. It seems the mandate for federal workers will go into affect before the end of this month. Let's hope they can enforce it.
