Nope. I raised a web form and updated my new LOA on 25th sept then on 26 sept I got a response that my application is still subjected to statutory requirements, including background checks. Today I got a ghost update.

this i know what i want to know so i can have better idea about ur visa approval

there are 3 main reasons which visa officer consider.. Ensure that u will leave canada after completion of ur study, for this what u answered. VO need to be convinced that you surely leave canada and in this section mostly travel history consider. and last ur strong job experience with salary slips, bank statement and strong ties...... i have previously visa experience with UK first application was rejected and second i got visa and went for study. then after 2 years again i applied where my 6 application rejected and finally approved through court but thats costed me 2 years and when my visa was approved then i withdrawn because i got job in Dubai. what i am saying if u never lose hope then one day surely u get visa and this all depends how much u can convince visa officer and who sit on that chair on the day of profile review... racist or non racist abu dhabi office is worst for pakistanies because haters in that office where mostly indian MALWARIS working and they even dont review the files and rejects for own internal satisfaction,,, indians are getting visa more and more from delhi office and ottawa office but for pakistanies this nightmare abu dhabi office SDS and NON SDS

You cannot simply type comments without any proof which can lead to uncertainity for many applicants waiting here and hatred toward a specific country.

In that case, this ghost update can also be an indication that VO has replaced your previous LOA with new one. So your file was updated with a new document and you noticed this ghost update. Anyways your file is progressing and hopefully a good new is coming

Bro keep calm. Don't go on this track. We are all applicants here from different part of the world and our mainly focus should be on securing visa rather than blaming on other country/society.

Bro keep calm. Don't go on this track. We are all applicants here from different part of the world and our mainly focus should be on securing visa rather than blaming on other country/society.

dear its not about blame, seriously if our visa office in not Abu Dhabi then our visa ratio should be 80% but due to AUH visa ration not even 20 percent. yesterday i ws shocked when a student rejected twice even he/she visited 4 time canada in past but still VO saying u will not leave canada on time and ur immigration status in UAE even the student born and raised in UAE How student can convince VO in these rejection ,
