Applied on 17/10/2020 , I don’t think it’s concerned. So far all invitations are sent to the confirmation no’s starting with NUMERICS ONLY . The confirmation no’s starting with Alphabet are yet to be lucky drawn. It’s observation let’s see
it is much easier on the servers to stagger the emails.

Quick question- i filled interest to sponsor for both my parents and I have all eligibility, but my father doesn't want to come. How do I go about this if I get selected. Lets just say we are not on speaking terms right now.

Are your parents still married? He doesn't need to come but he needs to go through medical, police and background check as dependent of your mom.
Hey everyone, I just got the invitation for 2021. I had it all wrong in my head thinking that by the time we wanna submit the application we're reporting on 2019,2020 and 2021 tax years. For 2018 we moved to Canada(Landed as PR) around May and I started working July the same year. I have a tax return for 2018 but since it's only for a few months of income it doesn't meet the criteria. Does anyone have the same issue or know if they accept the explanation that it's only for a few months of that year and not the whole year? Thank you in advance.

You need to meet the income requirement for 2018 or it's an automatic refusal. No, they won't accept the explanation that it's only for a few months of the year. There's no point in submitting your application. You'll need to wait until next year and re-enter the draw then.
You don't qualify, just decline the offer. Thanks for wasting a spot.
