@legalfalcon sir why only one VO( Sydney) is issuing ppr while all others are completely silent? Why they are completely ignoring files with approved status in GCMS notes? They aren’t even touching these files again.

Each VO has its priorities. Also, you have to understand that economic immigration is one of the many immigration programs administered by IRCC. Other programs include sponsorship applications, TRVs (work, study, visit etc.) and refugees etc.

A few months ago many applications that were approved in GCMS were not send COPRs since there were border restrictions. If your COPR is valid, then you may still get one. If it has expired, your application will be re-opened and after all checks are done, a new COPR will be generated.

For FSW-O, when is it expected to get passport request as the travel restrictions have been removed earlier this month?

we have an express entry file submitted on October 2019- all passed except security which has not been started yet!! My husband is main applicant-

We applied for postdoc work permit visa July 2021- main applicant is me- from Iran

I got 3 updates and asked for documents to be provided on august 10th and then eligibility check changed to reviewing! But nothing afterward!

How do you think they will process and for how long? Will we have background check which may take long time?

it seems that work permit visa is not in their priority as last two weeks there was a huge number of owp rejection!

please advise- i really need your professiona

No, if the file was closed and had to be reopened to update medicals or any other documents, eligibility usually is not re-done.

Once the final checks are done to make sure that all documents are valid and not expired.

Each application is different and processed on its own merits. Also, factors such as your individual circumstances, the VO processing your application etc. all play a role in how long it will take to process an application.

now i'm asked to submit my passport to vac in new york though i've informed ircc about change in my cor in feb 2021. i've emailed them about my situation and also raised a webform but no response yet. contacted fedex and dhl but i was told that i cannot mail my passport from India to Usa. called ircc but the agent said it might take upto 3 weeks to get a response. my relatives are going to usa this weekend and im confused if i can send my passport with them or just wait for the response from ircc? anybody faced similar situation? your opinions are appreciated. thanks in advance

i don’t think so as my instructions are to submit my passport only to vac in new york. If they have said that i can submit to my nearest visa office then I could but now my file has to be transferred to india to submit in India.
