Hi everyone
I made a big mistake I think.
In form 5406 - additional family information, I wrote names only in English. The heading says that I need to write this in English as well as native language. I referred my friend's form and he did the same & his file was approved.

Can I do anything to update the form or will my file be returned ? I applied for paper based and file has reached sydney office 2 days ago..

We forgot to write it as well when we sent our application. Asked a few people who had the same problem but was approved without any problem. However, for my peace of my mind, I sent it again with names in native language through webform after getting AOR.

Hi, i applied for my husbands papers on the 16th of June. He lives in Italy. I got my biometrics about a month ago and they were done on Monday. Does anyone how much time they will take for the medical request?

this is not an issue. It is only for people whose names are in native language and not in english. I am pretty sure all your other documents will have your name in english so writing your name only in english is enough.

@Amm1224 @Jojosa did you hear any reason why roughly all got it and very few of us did not? I tried calling CIC but they said they are only replying to afganistan queries

I was able to talk one of the representative she said she cannot say anything about why but process is not started yet. She was able to find some of my information using my spouse’s UCI number.

I was able to talk one of the representative she said she cannot say anything about why but process is not started yet. She was able to find some of my information using my spouse’s UCI number.

I am hoping we just have the same agent who is taking a bit longer and nothing else. My fear is that our timeline will be prolonged... Not coming by (leaving Japan) April next year complicates schools for the kids. I don't want to have them start the school year (perhaps the most important event of the year for kids) so that they are yanked from their newly made friends a few months into their school year to start in Canada again... fingers crossed.

There is likely something we have in common. Perhaps having included the spouse with UCI?

Did the folks who are in the process include a UCI for your spouse?
