Applying Citizenship with lost back home passport.

Hey guys. Hope you doing well.
My nephew (refugee) applied for citizenship this month, but because of he lost his back home passport he couldnt send pictures of all pages. Now he has a concern that he will receive some bad news from IRCC. He only traveled 2 times,

He has a report from local police, cause he is a refugee he cant contact home country authorities.

You think local police report will be enough? He is likely will get RQ, but dont know which one.

I have no idea. I'm saying that providing a police report will help answer their questions of "did you actually lose the passport or are you just telling us this."
