I sent an email to the Hamilton IRCC office regarding taking the test from outside of Canada on Wednesday and haven't heard back anything yet. My test window started on the 24th September. Does anyone have an idea on how long it takes to receive the confirmation email regarding taking the test from outside of Canada? TIA

Have question for Pakistani citizenship Applicants ; our passport has last page of wording in Urdu language, so do we have to translate it anyway ? Your reply would be highly obliged.

My Fingerprints was done on January 2020 and test done on August 2021. So my question is this, do I need to give fingerprint again and is it necessary to do after one year ?

If your application is not finalized by Jan 2022 they will more than likely request new fingerprints

I haven't heard anything about translation of that last page. I don't think that page is needed.

Can you post the exact requirements that they want about passport? They want all pages or the ID pages and the ones with stamps on it?

There was a thread about this recently. Search for it. I believe people were allowed to take test from outside Canada.

Thanks for your quick reply but have one more clarification that how do u know that fingerprints are valid for two years from January 2020 to January 2022 ? Because I read in mostly places that it is valid for one year Only ?

No specific requirements they ask, just I am asking for myself that do I need it to translate last page as well with other stamps which one‘s are not in English.

I'm sorry, I misread your original post and thought you did them in Jan 2021. If they were done in 2020 then yes they will request new ones. Mine were done Aug 2020 and test done Sep 2021 - I just got a request for new prints last week.

Not sure if we all get the same letter but mine stated "Make electronic copies of all the pages of passport(s) and travel document(s)" and "Note: Any documents that are not in English or French must be accompanied by:
 the English or French translation; and
 an affidavit from the person who completed the translation" so it sounds to me like they want all pages not just the ones with stamps or personal info, and you would need to have it translated

I would agree, get everything translated. If there's even a doubt in your mind, add more information than needed, get that page translated..... whatever it is. I wouldn't run the risk of them sending it back 5-6 months later for an incomplete application.
