Medical and Biometrics are completed. No updates to the profile for last 6 months

Hi All,

Please find below time line of my Application status:

1. Invitation received 09th January 2021
2. AOR received on 26th Feb 2021
3. Passed the medical exam on 22nd March 2021
4. Biometrics completed on 29th March 2021

Last application status says as below,

We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Latest update:
Review of medical results - March 22, 2021:You passed the medical exam.



Its been about 6 months for the long pause after the last update. Does any one know why is this and are there any one else who are facing the same issue?

Is there anything else that I could do/ Next Steps?

It's due to the backlogs of last year. IRCC is still processing the applications of 2019 & 2020. I'm in the same boat. It will take more than 1 year now till we receive PPR, I am guessing watching the current scenario.
