Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

My dependent’s passport dispatched from the VFS. But I didn’t see any COPR number in my account.

I got my pr card but I don't get ppr for my wife. Shw is in India. Is there anu issue or it's normal?

In November 2020 I applied for my Husband's SOWP then on September 14th I applied for his Visitor Visa from the new portal they introduced after 7th September and on very next day 15th September we got his PPR in our GC key account (PR AOR December 2020) ... not sure if applying Visitor visa triggered it or not but then we withdraw his visitor visa application by submitting a webform.

May I know the purpose of visit you've mentioned when applying visitor visa for spouse. Is it worth mentioning PR application is approved and awaiting PPR or just visiting family members for period of 3 to 4 months is suffice?

Lot of people in the same boat. Waiting on ppr after receiving ecopr or Pr card.
I received ecopr on 9 September but no ppr yet

Hello everyone. Is there anyone who have not received portal email yet and with outland dependent and received PPR? Passport sent to vfs and came stamped with visa and copr? Do they stamp it without PA getting any portal email? On the letter there is no clause as to send the passport to vfs only after PA gets ecopr!!

He applied for his Visitor visa when we haven't received anything on PR application. So that time I was on Work permit and I mentioned same in the reason that I want him here and some details related to PR application as it was on hold because of travel restrictions.

It means that no additional documents are pending or required currently.

Why dependent cant travel with valid copr and valid visa on their passport , if PA did not receive the ecopr yet? @legalfalcon. Do we have any official links for that? My wife is going to receive her COPR and visa stamped on her passport soon. I just wanted to make sure why cant she travel?

Unless the PA becomes a PR, dependents cannot travel and land as PR in Canada.

The instructions for uploading photo in PR Confirmation portal states: Front and back (info of name, DoB, Photo studio address and photo take date) must be available. But the portal allows for adding only one photo.. Are the instructions incorrect (and is only applicable for earlier process where applicants had to mail in the photo)?

What has been done by others? any guidance will be much appreciated!!

I didn’t apply for Bridging work permit, I applied for the one time policy PGWP extension and I got it in 4 weeks, valid for 18 months

When did you apply? Estimated processing time is showing 87 days

I applied April 29, and got the PGWP on June 1 and the refunded my $100 immediately after the application was approved.

Hi, remeds for Outland dependents requested and passed on July 29. ADRs for dependent spouse (me) - studies, military service, CV -requested on August 11, submitted August 16. Called September 7, security in progress.
