I don’t understand your response here please. What do you mean by ‘just go 3rd party office and tell them you need to do rcmp police clearance certificates...’. Please make your response as explicit as possible. Thank you.

3rd party means, rcmp accredited centers, you can search it on Google for your nearby, I gave my fingerprints today at one of my nearest one,they took just 10 minutes

No they did not ask me , but I thought to do it In advance as it takes around 1 month approximately to get it done from rcmp , so whenever they willask me immediately I will upload it and can save few weeks, I think it may be work .

That's why they did not ask you for rcmp , coz rcmp clearance applies for person whoever is in canada for more then 2 years
