waiting time after application filed

Hello everyone,

I submitted my citizenship application last July and get my application filed in Jan 2021. Usually it’s gonna take 12 months to make a decision, however I have been waiting for almost 15 months since last July they received my application by mail, I still haven’t received any citizenship test notice, meanwhile some of my friends have already passed test even they submitted application later than me. Is this a normal situation? What should I do next? Just keep waiting or try to contact IRCC?

I saw someone who applied April 2019 just got the test invite. It's crazy, but IRCC doesn't care. They pick files in what appears to be a random manner. It's all luck with what office/officer your file is in/with. Send them a webform and see what happens.
