My GCMS request was pending for more than 30 days. I forwarded the GCMS confirmation mail to IRCC.ATIP-AIPRP.IRCC@cic.gc.ca multiple times and got the below reply . Haven't received the notes yet

"Thank you for contacting the Access to Information and Privacy Office.

We apologize for the delay in receiving your requested information. Your request has been reviewed and the records will be released to you shortly.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused"

Liberals wasted 610 million dollars during pandemic for an election with an outcome nearly identical to the federal elections in 2019. Could have deployed that money to resources like immigration so files can be processed faster and could have gained all these potential votes for future elections.

I don’t know .they can just ask status of our files which we almost know .I m not sure that it would help for fast processing .

We have to find the way to tackle them.

Nothing we can do, I already consulted a couple of Immigration consultants and lawyers. As per them, the only thing you can do is wait.
I asked them about the MP intervention and they confirmed MPs doesn't have any power in this matter. The response which you will get in GCMS is the same response they will send to MP.

Please be careful. There are chances of file being delayed due to this as well. I mean it can offend our visa officer that candidate is using third person to force them to work. Just an opinion. if you still want to, totally up to you.

Saw Application/Profile Updated ghost update when I logged in this morning. Not sure if an actual ghost update or a glitch.

File hasn't been touched since June 18th 2021

Same here mine has not been touched since June 16 as per gcms notes.
