You have to provide ALL PAGES of ALL PASSPORTS that were valid during your eligibility period. If there are stamps are not in English or French, you'll have to include translations as well.Hi All,
Just got email to provide color copy of all passport pages. (for my parents over 65)
they asked to provide all pages for last 5 years. here is exact text from email:
"You are required to provide complete colour photocopies of all passports and/or travel documents that were valid during your five (5) year Eligibility Period*, even if now expired. You must provide a colour photocopy of every page (including blank pages without any stamps).
*Your Eligibility Period is the five (5) year period preceding the date of your citizenship application.
For example, if the date of your citizenship application was on July 15, 2021, your five (5) year Eligibility Period is July 15, 2016 to July 15, 2021."
do I need to provide the passport pages before they landed to Canada?
lets say for the example above if they landed June 10 2017, do I still need to provide the pages for the passport they had between July 15 2016 to June 10 2017? they were not even in Canada then
They are asking for your passports from July 15, 2016 to July 15, 2021 . Since Passport 2 expired before July 15th, 2015 (in Jan 2016), you will NOT have to include that passport.May be I was not clear, during the past 5 year preceding the date of citizenship application, they had two passports.
one passport which has all the landing stamp etc, and another one before that which falls under 5 years. but they never used that passport for Canada.
date of citizenship application was on July 15, 2021
passport 1 , Jan 2017 - Jan 2021, Landed on June 10 2017 stamp in this passport.
passport 2, Jan2012 - Jan 2016, Never used it to travel to Canada
Do I sent pages for passport 2 as well? it falls under 5 years but passport 1 was the one they used to came to Canada for first time.
any chance you can give me the contact info for misssissagua office? I haven’t got the oath letter yet but need to contact them. ThanksMississauga, Ontario.
I am surprised it is going this fast for me. I supposed that it is because I haven't travelled much (only 1 big trip of 3 weeks to my home country in the 5 year eligibility period and one over-night trip to the US) and that my application is pretty straightforward (no temporary visa or working visa, applied directly to PR through Express Entry and from there to citizenship), also no criminal records, yearly tax income declarations, lived in the same place all the time, etc. Piece of cake for the processing officer!
The eligibility period is then July 15, 2016-July 15, 2021. If the second passport expired before July 15, 2016, then you don't need to include it, but there is one year missing between the two passports. What was the travel document in that period? Also, after Jan 2021, they didn't renew the passport after landing?May be I was not clear, during the past 5 year preceding the date of citizenship application, they had two passports.

No, this is how it normally progresses. There is nothing weird about it.My test status and background verification show as completed. But physical, language and prohibition are in progress.
I thought they get completed before one gets invited for test.
Does anyone have the same statuses? Is it weird
Thank you, Raj. Appreciate your responseNo, this is how it normally progresses. There is nothing weird about it.
Physical Presence, Language and Prohibitions will only be set to "Completed" when a decision is made on your application.
sorry there was type from my side, second passport expires Jan 2017The eligibility period is then July 15, 2016-July 15, 2021. In that case, yes, you should include all the pages from the 1st passport, too, because it's within the 5 years eligibility periodsorry there was type from my side, second passport expires Jan 2017
