They send passports via VFS Global. My parents received pre-arrival letter with medical & pcc in March 2021 & then received passport request on Aug 20.

Through VFS gobal. It took two weeks.

For application including dependents, do the dependent also receive their own permanent residency confirmation, or their names are just listed on the principal applicant permanent residency confirmation?

All dependents have to get their own COPR.

Hi I applied in PGP for my parents and my parents medical was done last month and now CIC is requesting some weird documents which I don’t have. They are asking my grade 5,8,10,12 and voter if and adhaar card. Anyone with same problem. I have my grade 8,10,12 but I don’t have grade 5 and adhaar card and voter id. What should I do please help.

Looks like the sponsor is missing his birth certificate in the application. If you are a citizen of Canada, then Adhaar card and voter ID are not applicable to you. But if you are PR you can apply for voter ID even from Canada through your relatives in India. Not sure about how to apply Adhaar Card.

Hello everyone, need some help. I received ' information letter' and 'request letter' in mycic. Both are same docs that are referring to PPR. however, both letters are addressed to my father (principal applicant'. There is no mention of my mother (dependent). Is this normal? Should there be one for my other as well?

1. August 16th, 2021 - My father (principal applicant) received Biometric request. Father has it scheduled for October 5th. It is not within 30 days as no slot was available. He has sent a web form to let them know of the same as requested. Does anybody know if that is going to be a problem? They have not responded.
2. August 20th, 2021 - My father received his medical request. He and my mother (dependent) got their medical done on September 13th.
3. I received AOR on September 10th, 2021. Praise the lord!!

We have already applied for the police clearance certificate in India. I will send that once we receive it along with a Travel form they have requested.

What are the next steps? Is there anything else I would need to do on my end?

Yes, my parents did medical in March 2021 for second time. Medical passes in April 2021. Received pre approval letter next day but no movement after that.
We went web form but no concrete answer.

I ordered gcms notes about 4 weeks ago but have not received yet. Web form says they won’t give any application status update.

3. Your AOR was received on Sep 10, 2020. This time you must have received sponsorship approval (SA) letter stating the local visa office (LVO).
Can you tell us the date of the SA letter and LVO?
Now wait for DM2 after biometrics is complete and PCC is sent.

Hi can you please help as I am in the same boat.
Did you get any instructions in Sponsor letter? Do you have timeline when you need to submit these docs? Also do you submit or the principal applicant?
Were you able to link application as sponsor? Or only Principal applicant can link?
