Thank you. Please note my overseas dependents family visa approved and planning to land person airport mid October. I would like to know what are the process at airport after they arrives. Will they get PR card , SIN and health card at airport ? Or they have to apply later

Congratulations to you and your family. I think when they arrive, their documents will be checked and then they will be allowed passage. Note: the PR card will not be handed over. It will come about 2 weeks or 3 weeks later to your address or the address where they put that they will stay in Canada. With their CoPR, they can go for their SIN and health card application as soon as possible.

Please I want to find out if my spouse Stand a chance to get a visit visa approval with this new mail from cic. I have since submitted her application for permanent residence to Accra Visa office since March as requested wen I got my approval. Since then no news from them. Its not been easy as I haven't seen my family in 4 years.
I will advise that you contact Accra visa office via webform and email to know if they received your spouse documents so that you dont keep waiting assuming they have it whereas they have not.
For the visit visa, two lawyers and one immigration consultant have asked me not to waste my time and money because they wont give me seeing that i have applied for PR for my spouse. One of the lawyer said he has applied for 3 different people and till now, no response and one is more than one year.

I agree with you that he should contact AVO. I lost 4 months in this process. I had to resend again after 4 months. In terms of Visit visas, no one case applies to all. You can be approved for a visit visa while another person refused. All circumstances are different.

We have actually contacted Accra several times. Received AOR in April and since then nothing. Sent an email twice now and was told application is in queue for processing and nothing else.

Well, I have heard from people before us that Accra waste time a lot so I am a bit relaxed not to have high blood pressure about this people. I added my spouse to my ongoing application in April via Add-on to IRCC CANADA. When I got my eligibility, I was asked to send my spouse documents to Accra visa office which I did in July and they received it within 3 days. I never heard from them so I wrote them and they responded that its in queue for review and I should do nothing yet. That means they have not even open it in Accra I guess. Well, let me just be chilling sha.

If IRCC is dealing with Afghanistan issue, how does it concern Visa office in Accra Ghana? Just somehow. Corona came and became excuse for slow operation. Now Afghanistan and this one that Health minister is already warning that this winter will see an increase of covid cases more than before, am just hoping that it will not lead to an excess delay again.

Its crazy but still the truth.we only have to wait.we have no option other than waiting.alot of families are waiting and this month it’s elections on 20th and that means more waiting as ministers might be changed too…so we gotta wait calmly
