So, I attended the ceremony and received my citizen certificate. Today I received a request letter to provide a scan for my passport and travel document to continue my application…??? What is IRCC doing omg

Hello everyone, hope all is well!! I am March 2020 applicant and my tracker shows background check completed on May 12, 2021 and all sections are in progress since then. I didn’t even get test invite yet but I saw some post on Facebook and here like - some people applied many months after me and everything done! I am not sure what they do!! Why they need this long to finish a half done job!! Totally insane!!
I have done my fingerprint on March 10. My background check completed. Does it mean that they received my fingerprint??
Please advise me what should or can I do in this situation?? Thank you for your time!!

No one really knows what's going on. One Feb 2021 applicants got their oath recently, while others who applied even before you are still waiting for an update. Puzzling

I received the email for an invitation to take the test and with it a request for scanned pages for all pages of my passports over the past 5 years.
I just did the test online today and passed, 17/20

Congrats, I believe its a progress or an Indication that they are you looking in to your file. I have completed my test a month ago, yesterday I received same email request to send scanned pages from Passport. I hope we get our progress updated in the tracker or receive additional email for our next steps.

Most probably as mine, your status if Physical presence is pending ?

Its has to be done only when they request. However, I was told that we could do Finger print scan before in hand not explored it tho.

I did my fingerprints on September 1st 2021, how long does it take for the results to be sent to IRCC? I haven't seen any updates in the Citizenship Application Tracker.

Also from the montreal office, I completed my test in March and haven't hear anything since..not even DM... Well, I think I'm probably not going to hear anything until next year to be honest...

So I was asked to do my test and send them scanned pages of my passport in ONE email. They gave me 2 weeks to do both. Just did the test yesterday and passed it. Will be sending the passports on Monday as some visas and stamps needed translation (not in English).
The only item that is 'competed' on my tracker is Background Verification.
Everything else is 'In Process'

Some updates, reside in BC. (2+minor)

15.3.20 - Application sent
14.9.20 - Application filed
26.1.21 - Background check completed
30.7.21 - Got test notification
11.8.21 - Took, and passed, test
17.9.21 - Got an email asking for scans of all passports

Two question regarding the passport scans -

1. I don't see the passport scans request on the website, is that for you as well ? Just want to make sure email is not a scam.
2. I have 4 passports from that period, those of you with multiple ones - did you send all of them combined as one file, or 1 PDF per passport ?

all IRCC offices are sleeping, only Toronto sees some movements (base on the tracker not much going on elsewhere)

I am on the same boat as yours, March 2020 Applicant, no test invite, fingerprint request a few weeks ago, no updates.
