LMIA and Work permit approval inland Canada

Hi guys, I am a person who is staying in Canada now. I quit the previous job because of cranky boss.

Now I applied LMIA 2 weeks ago after the advertisement is done and have been waiting about 2 weeks but nothing happened.

When I was in Korea this March, LMIA was approved in a week and I got a work permit at airport. But now I'm in Canada and it is delaying than back in the days.

Anyone who was approved LMIA and Work permit inside of Canada recently? Please share the information.

What do you mean? It took 7 days this March. Now I applied it again and no idea how long it will take

So you need your employer to get the positive LMIA and then you apply for the closed work permit. Just getting work permit after LMIA is 89 days.

It's really impossible to say. It could take as little as a few weeks or could take several months.

LMIA can take anywhere from weeks to months. Once you get LMIA, provided is the link for permit which is currently 89 days.

No one can tell you if it will be shorter but that is the average time for work permits.

I applied for a new work permit with LMIA on July, it's 70 days since they sent a confirmation that they received my application, no further updates yet
