In my case it goes back to September 2019 when I first missed the FSW draws (i was at 456 back then, still an unimaginably high score for CECs though). I delayed starting French till January 2020. Those three months made the difference between me passing the French exam in February 2021 instead of November 2020. And the difference between having an application in process vs. never being able to leave my piece of shit country.

Stay strong though, you're almost there. The wait is long, but it will come through for you.

Also if you know french, you should definitely qualify for some PNP pathways. I'm not sure if you've already checked them

Is PNP not possible? considering your french, isnt there PNP which facilitates for those who have french?
No, PNP caps the CRS, again, because IRCC is too goddamn stupid to actually say something definitive about the fate of FSW. My score is too high to qualify for Ontario french draws. Every other province has job offer/NOC requirements that I don't meet.

I don't, I've checked. The reason is that IRCC hasn't definitively cancelled FSW. So my CRS is too high to qualify.

What if you removed IELTS from your profile, what will be your score then?

Oh well there it is. I'm fucked then. Looks like student visa is my only option now.
Did you watch the video bro? She was talking about impact on some jobs with NOC category B.... If you're not in that category I don't see how you are fucked.

Nova Scotia has issued letters of Interest to candidates in the Express Entry pool who had selected French as their first official language, with a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 9 or higher in all French language abilities (reading, writing, listening and speaking).

That loss of Job is no longer the case my brother. Currently there are almost 800k vacancies in Canada right now. Though most of those Jobs are Survival(low skilled) jobs and Tech jobs, but we cannot rule out the fact that some Thousands out these Vacancies would be Skilled Jobs that requires the services of SKILLED WORKERS and those skilled workers are most sources from Overseas. So if they truly want the Economy to bounce back resoundingly, I see no reason why they are holding back. The CECs that they keep giving ITA and Processing their applications are already in Canada and I do not see any other significant magic they can perform to the economy when they become PR.

I am an engineer and haven't met a single engineer who didn't have an engineering degree. You cannot be employed anywhere in STEM without a (matching) STEM degree. And STEM does not include software or IT; I'm aware that software and IT people come from various backgrounds but it is not the case in STEM occupations.

So I'm saying that, for STEM people, their education already match their jobs.
lmao kangaroo... IT doesn't include STEM? Then how do software eng get STEM OPT in the USA lollll
Just admit it you hate software eng... Or perhaps you were not good at it at least

I'm wondering wheter the new changes in the NOC code system will affect the existing files (post AOR) or not.

More chances of applications getting cancelled than this happening

quick question folks, the oinp tech draw is expected sometime in the near future right? and the scores are gonna be less than 468, right?
