Hello every one
I have question I applied online super visa on 20 April 2021 for my mother she did biometric on may 20th upfront medical exam .. on June 23 rd since that time we hear nothing till yesterday they asked for tax return form is that mean things is ok n she might get visa or just more documents for processing need .. thank u for any help .. n good luck to all

How did you raise webform for delay in biometrics as after BIL, we have to do biometrics within a month? How did you guys inform them?

Firstly, thank you so much for answering the questions. You were right, I answered one of the questions in the wrong perspective and that is why I wasnt getting the document list for a Super Visa.

About point no.4 - In the document 'Application for visitor visa (temporary resident visa)', for the question 'Purpose of my visit', there are 4 options. I was told by an IRCC agent to choose 'other' as the answer and in the 'other' field mention 'COVID-19'. This is for the immediate family members who want to reunite with their family because of the COVID impacts. But I did not see much discussion about this point in this thread. So I am a bit confused.

Are you asking about option 'Pupose of visit' in Form IMM 5257?(Application for TRV). In that form, i selected option "Supervisa-parents and grandparents". Why do you wanna go for 'other' option, if you are applying for supervisa?

I have similar time frame like you however my visa office is in Singapore. Can you please confirm your VAC? I was requested for medical in July 30, passed in August 10th.. since then no update from VAC.

They are accepting expired BILs by themselves. We just booked an appointment as biometrics opened.

May be your's is the right answer, even mine was the same until I talked to this IRCC agent.

Impossible to say and also impossible to say what will happen to supervisa applications from Afghanistan. There will be valid concerns that the parents have no plans on returning home and may apply for asylum upon entry. Technically that should usually lead to denial but Canada may decide to overlook the issue and assume that the supervisa applicants will apply for asylum upon entry.

We are no one to say if they will get or will not get the visa, all you can do is, submit a strong application with as much documentations as possible and hope the visa is granted. I understand how you feel and there are many of us feeling helpless most of the time dealing with CIC.

I have submitted a parents supervisa application on August 20th 2021 and would like to know if i have to resubmit my application as IRCC recommends to resubmit visitors visa applications which were submitted before Sep 7th 2021. Any thoughts on this ? Would really appreciate this!!!

Yeah but for Afghanistan I don’t think they will give super visa anymore. I’m so worried now we applied in March 2021 and if I tell them the crisis in Afghanistan I’m sure they will reject the visa
