Is there anything our employers can do to remind IRCC to process our applications?
May be calling IRCC since employers are in Canada.
Applied also from Nigeria ..closed work lmia exempt....since February 2021....processing office Nairobi.
I dont understand the delay because thesame office is processing study permits daily including Saturdays.
What can we do?

You or them (whoever has the online login details) can actually raise a webform to enquire about the present situation. Also, I would love to know if you did upfront medicals and had your PCC both uploaded at the same time when you were submitting your application as these factors affect how fast they attend to applications. If you haven't, I would advise that you do so ASAP. Wishing all the PPR hopefuls a speedy, favorable response. Cheers
Unfortunately employer cannot do anything with immigration matters. this is something beyond their control.
Even employers in canada get the same reply from IRCC that application is currently being processed at relavent visa office and they dont have access to it.

An employer cannot do anything, however, you can check the actual status by applying for GCMS notes.
I got my GCMS note yesterday,
Eligibility: Review required
Criminality: in progress
Info sharing: in progress
Applied April 2020, since then they haven't done anything. This is my second GCMS notes. First was early this year and same thing.
What! Whooping 17mths? That is not fair at all... what date is on your letter of employment and what is the understanding between you and your employers based on this delay?
I used a consultant, initial letter was dated February 2020 or so.
But I have, signed an updated letter this month for the consultant to send a reminder, no response yet from them.
I wish you all the very best; praying for you that the inner strength you need will be abundantly supplied so you will not be discouraged or depressed, also that this delay will quickly be over!
Hey man, i got my approval couple of days ago and i applied in June 2020, so please be patient and i am praying for you. I know how hard these 15 months were for me, the uncertainity kills you the most more than the actual decision.
