Did you lodge a TRV application as a tourist or for tourist purposes?
Canada only started accepting applications for non-essential travel on September 7.

I applied for tourism purposes, and it went through & got biometrics request the day after I submitted my application.

Which province and for how long did you say you will stay? Are you a first-time traveller? Have you ever been issued a visa to Canada before?

My point of entry will be BC but I’ll be exploring Alberta & Ontario all for 15days. No it’ll be my 1st time but I’m a frequent traveler & does have travel history.

Are you going to be a solo traveller? and did you include in your application an itinerary of reservations of where you'll be staying? 15 days seem too short to visit 3 provinces; you'd need to fly to each province.

Yes, I did along with expenses report of my entire trip. All are booked even my flight from Cebu to Vancouver round trip. I’ll be traveling solo. I mapped out my trip & I requested multiple entry coz I’m planning to visit again Spring next year to tour Montreal, Halifax ..etc. I think 15days is enough for me as it’ll be doing more sightseeing & bonding with my Filipino friends.

You booked your flights without a permit?

IRCC site specifically says don’t book flights. Assume you are vaccinated. Check IRCC website as visa processing has changed if you submitted before Sept. 7.
I did & it’s quite confusing, the # of days of processing changes from time to time. Hopefully I’ll get update on my application though. Thanks

My brother in law and my wife's cousin applied August 2020 from the Philippines, and it's been stuck on background check ever since . No update and even a web form last year never got a reply. When they applied it was 3 days processing . I don't believe any of the processing times they show anymore lol.

I agree with you, processing time doesn’t make sense.
